Hotel is located 30m walking distance to the center. Rooms have standard area but the building architect put the pillars in the rooms, therefore some of the spaces are unusable, also the facade design is pretentious. Adding to this, the …
It's a pity that this modern design hotel with a wonderful restaurant is managed(and probably owned) by people that don't care about rules and hospitality!!! On New Year's Eve invaded literally in our room to take a chair for their party, regardless the "no disturb" signal on the door. We found clothes moved and piled elsewhere and we're still not sure if we're missing something or not. The manager of the hotel took responsibility when he never thought to inform us (by telephone for example) about what he was about to do!!! We checked also some safety issues that we present in photos but the most important is that the whole situation ruined our vacation as we never felt safe again in this hotel!! Not to mention that this party let us awake the whole night. So I advise everybody to stay elsewhere in Timișoara(there is Ibis hotel closer to the city center) but go on Mercure restaurant Winestone for dinner......
I like very much the modern style of the interior. Rooms nice and comfortable and very quiet. I appreciate the customer service. The only thing is not enough parking spots.
One of the best hotels in Timisoara. Great value for money. Recently renovated/refurbished with modern taste. Everything is new, high quality. The staff is simply amazing. The breakfast is $$$, however worth every penny. Within walking distance from the city center (15-20 minutes leisure pace), and in a quiet, safe area. Will definitely stay here again.
The design is superb! The breakfast is also quite good. Location is so-so, about 20 min walking from the city center. Though private parking compensates for it.
In my opinion a bit overpriced, but i guess maintaining the design costs a lot.
P.s. first hotel where i had an opportunity to view the city siting on the toilet…
Mercure hotel in Timisoara was the most stylish hotel we stayed in during our trip in Romania.
First of all I have asked the reception for the parking spot, which was waiting for me on my arrival, even though the hotel has a limited parking capacities.
Second of all, all our problems were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. The interior of the lobby, restaurant, bar and also the rooms is very stylish.
We had read many reviews that people had problems with air conditioning but we had no such problem! Air conditioning was working without any problem.
This choice in Timisoara was a very good one and we are looking for our next visit.
Modern and stylish hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is great as well. Perfect place to stay for a business trip.
Together with my kid and parents took couple of vacation day and used the hotel as a hub for our trips in the region.
What we enjoyed most was the staff in the restaurant, on top of a good food, they knew how to make our dinners excellent.
I am using this hotel for business trips, but my family enjoyed a lot, so we will keep coming back.
